Owners/Instructors: Christopher & Christa Wilson


Christopher Wilson holds a 4th degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won, and is a licensed instructor and member of the World Kuk Sool Association. Born and raised in South Carolina, he moved to Southern California in 2004. Christopher has considerable experience teaching martial arts to children, and founded KMAP (a Kids Martial Arts Program) teaching martial arts at a number of Southern California preschools. He received a certificate of completion in “Autism 101” from the Autism Society of America, and is certified in Pediatric, Adult and Child CPR and First Aid. TRX® Suspension Training Certified.


Christa Wilson is also a licensed instructor and member of the World Kuk Sool Association. A 3rd degree black belt, she is a three-year Gold Medalist and 2012 Pacific Coast Grand Champion who enjoys training and competing at National Tournaments. Christa also has a background in business administration and currently works as a paralegal for a local law firm in Encino, California. 


Our Mission at Kuk Sool Won™ Martial Arts is to strengthen and support our local community and build life-long, lasting relationships with our Kuk Sool Families. We encourage our students to participate in volunteering and to be leaders in their schools and out in the world. 


Skills For School is an amazing, fundrasing opportunity for local schools and non-profit organizations, PTOs and other clubs. We offer a six-week program entitled  “Skills For School” in which children develop focus, perseverance and learn how to set and attain goals.  We also cover child safety and teach basic non-aggressive self-defense skills.  Groups meet twice a week at NoHo Performing Arts Center.  The total price for the program is $75 including a martial art uniform that we provide at no cost.  And 100% of the funds raised go directly to your organization. Now Enrolling.


In 2010 and 2011, we hosted an outreach program and free martial arts classes at the North Hollywood Regional Library, with more than 100 local participants. We also hold ongoing Women’s Self-Defense Workshops, building confidence in the ladies of our community.
